Relationship Help for High Schoolers

April 2, 2020 The Retreat shelter and the East Hampton Library have collaborated to offer an online program for high school students on navigating relationships while social distancing. It will be streamed Thursday afternoon at 4:30, and registration is via a sign-up button on the library's calendar pages. Adam Baranello of the A&G Dance Company will lead a virtual class combining yoga and Pilates Friday at 11 a.m. The company has launched a new interactive open-studio platform for dance and art. Registration is through eventbrite, a link to which is also on the library's calendar pages. Tennessee Walt, a frequent performer at the library, will sing and play old-time country songs in a show on Facebook Live on Saturday at 4 p.m. He plans to include songs he has not performed in public before. Among his repertoire are tunes by the late Kenny Rogers. The web address is facebook.com/tennesseewalt. Monday marks the launch of a new Chat With a Librarian service. Reference questions can be posed for a live response at easthamptonlibrary.org or sent by text to 631-305-2428 during normal library hours. After-hours queries will be answered as soon as possible.
